Please Read:
* Remember the 3:1 rule! This means you can dodge an attack up to 3 times in a row before you MUST take a hit, and then you must take the hit full on. You cannot pacify it. How ever, if you take a hit that does not count as your "must take," you are allowed to pacify it. Best to vary your hits taken, and dodges used.
* Remember the Process Rule! Everyone likes blood, guts, and glory. I'M GONNA RIP YOUR SPINE OUT! I'M GONNA SEVER YOUR HEAD! I'M GONNA RIP OUT YOUR JUGULAR! I'M GONNA RIP YOUR INTESTINES OUT! SWEET! GRRR! Attacks like these are PROCESS ATTACKS; they can NOT be completed in a single post. Process Attacks are attacks that take TIME to complete - several posts. So please, do not post that you try to bite someone's throat, they allow it, and then in your next post you go on about ripping their throat completely out, chewing on their larynx, savoring their blood, and oh my God they're dead. I WIN! No. It's a process.
* Under NO circumstance are you allowed to summon people into battle with you. If you summon, staff will be forced to rain fire down from the heavens on you >.< NO summoning. If your pack or anyone happens across your battle, they may join. Say there are 2 wolves about to fight 3 from another pack. If you want, you can send your friend back to your den for reinforcements. No whispering, but a messenger is allowed. What does this mean? This means that someone has to run their little pixel butt back into their den, say YO DAWGS MUH HOME SKILLET IS GETTIN' PUNKED OUT DER, and then you all must run your little pixel butts back to the battle. No summoning and no whispering.
* No 'private' RP. If anyone stumbles across you, they may join your RP. If you don't want to deal with other people, then go somewhere else.
* If someone is seriously being a twink, auto-hitting, and just being dumb, let staff know. Depending on how bad they are breaking the rules, we might just throw them out, especially if they are ruining others' experiences.
* Be logical. You cant "magically" free yourself out of someone's grasp in roleplay, or be saved from death by an angel or some weird crap of that sort. Imagine yourself in the wolf's perspective and try to see how a wolf would realistically deal with a situations(that means no blasting people with a bazooka cause you are mad, sorry)
* If you encounter another player anywhere in the IC area you really really should RP! Don't just ignore them. In real life, two wolves who encounter each other would not just ignore each other. Even if its a simple 4 lines of "Wolf-Bob watched Wolf-Jane and thought she was a very pristine female, and Wolf-Jane looked at Wolf-Bob and thought, 'my he is a charming lad but i dont think prince william will like this," before rushing off into the shrubs" this would be fine, then the other wolf would post a quick response, and you could both be on your way.
* If you are RP fighting, staff do not have to judge. Players can decide for themselves who wins a fight. If there is a disagreement however, whisper staff. If either player needs to postpone the fight, then they can. Nobody wins by default because someone needs to go to work irl. Thats just dumb.
* Your IC character cannot be over 3.5ft tall. I consider being over this height godmodding, and unrealistic. The 3.5ft that I'm allowing is a stretch for those of you who like to RP as Dire wolves. Those who apply and are accepted under either the special characters board, or as the demon avi can be taller, but there are still restrictions.
* As far as thrill-killing goes... Unfortunately boredom is not a good reason to attack someone. I would normally allow this, but I must take it away to avoid random players coming into the dream and trying to kill people just to be a crotchface.
* No autokill/godmodding
* You have to rp for the right to stay in a den, when challenged
* No weapons in RP... Like I said earlier about the bazooka.
* No special powers(unless given rights to it)
* When your character wants to escape during a roleplay fight you have to first post your escape attempt and then WAIT for the other player to post. Because in the wild you dont always manage to escape, sometimes the attacker stops you! So keep your behind sitting down and wait to see what happens.
* If your character is injured after battle, they can not heal instantly, even with a "healer" in the pack.
Here are the standard healing rates:
1 day= paper cut(jk)
2-3 days= Minor Wounds; bites gashes
5-7 days= Moderate Wounds; lacerations fractures large open wounds
2-3 weeks= Major Wounds; close to fatal bloodloss wounds, major bone breaks
Never= Fatal Wounds; broken spine, death.... duh. In this case you will have to create a new IC character.
-------------------------
Legit reasons for fighting aside from pack rank, or for a den:
- So your pack can gain territory
- Fighting over food
- Chasing out a trespasser in your packs LEGIT territory
- Defending yourself or someone else
- Defending a den
- Chasing someone out of your pack
Non-legit reasons
- I've never been in this dream before, don't plan on reading the rules, and I think I'll just slaughter some noobs.
- I'm bored
- I'm a twink
- I'm new
- I feel like being a shit.
- I feel like pissing off the people around me.
- I'm a self-proclaimed badass and I can kill anyone I want so I'm going to and I'm going to come up with 50,000 reasons and your sister as to why I can HAHA!
-I'm bored with yiffing in FurN and now I want to get rid off all the testosterone I built up by killing people.
---------------------------------------------------
* Do not go on swear fests. Like I swear, but really, saying fuck after every other word is so annoying.
* Do not be rude to staff or other players(OOC), I don't care what someone says to you. DO NOT respond rudely. This gets you in trouble too, regardless of who you are. Thats why there's a justice system. You will piss people off more by acting perfectly friendly and level headed. They will act like dicks. Then as staff we can punish them professionally by kicking them out of the dream so fast they get whiplash. Someone can call you a cunt faced douche bag, and you will stand there, take it, and they will recieve punishment. They will not be abused back because you can't handle your temper.
* NO begging to be staff, get a den, be co-owner, for your apps to be reviewed, ect. Fill out an application. When I have time I will review it.
* Do not autokill/godmod in roleplay
* No weapons in Rp- be realitic guys
* No spamming
* When roleplaying, be logical
* No "special" wolves such as hellhounds, ninjas, sorcer dogs, etc- Unless given special permission from Megan or Bri.
* If you have problems with another player, save logs, or preferably screen shots. We cannot help you if there is no proof.
* If you are in the IC area, YOU ARE IC, and so if you're engaged ICly you MUST RESPOND ICLY. Also, use []<--- Brackets if talking OOC in the IC area. Also, If two players are rping, please do not go into OOC chat around them, it disrupts their roleplay.
* If someone posts, you MUST respond. You shouldn't ignore other players unless their post is exceptionally noobish, or you have to go irl. It is highly encouraged that you do. Not only does it discourage a positive RP environment, but it is honestly rude if something posts and you ignore them. If you stick around somewhere long enough for someone to get in a decent and well-written post, you can stick around long enough to respond. Also, in the wild, two wolves/sabers wouldn't just ignore each other.
* NO TWINKING PLEASE! If you are new to Rping, and have yet to comprehend the art of roleplaying, I highly suggest you don't go IC. It will be up to the dream owner/staff members to decide whether or not someone is behaving in a way that disrupts the dreams continuity and RP of others.
* If you get caught in this dream with an exceptionally vulgar, or inappropriate description, you will be ejected and banned. Its annoying to click someone and see a desc filled with curses and talking about yiff. If you're in the dream to rp, make a real desc
* Don’t start meaningless arguments. If you have a problem with someone, discuss this in whispers. Nobody wants to deal with your drama, and if people start complaining, you will be dealt with accordingly. Staff, you’re also included in this rule. Don’t argue with other staff in public. It gives the dream a bad image. If you ever argue over emits, you will be fired and banned immediately.
* Do not mix OOC and IC; if you have a problem with someone OOC, that's all well and good, but OOC drama is not IC drama and Mr. Big Bite is not permitted, ICly, to attack Mr. Small Bite all because Billy and Tommy hate each other. This only causes drama, and makes the situation worse. If staff have reason to believe that something OOC has been taken IC, or vice versa, we will investigate. This is twinking as well, so before you behave so immaturely, please consider your pride.
* If you think someone is breaking the rules, tell a staff member. Don’t take it into your own hands. Staff, if you think another staff is breaking the rules, tell the owner. Don’t do anything about it because then you’ll probably end up breaking a rule too.
* OMG LYKE HI WIL U DON8 2 ME!?11? DO NOT DO THIS. WE ARE NOT A DONATION DREAM. If you need donations, ask for them in AI where everyone else does. Doing this will lead to an immediate ejection and banning
* If you are not staff, do not claim to be. Until you’re in the DS you’re not staff. If you are staff in training, do not claim to be full staff, or you will promptly be fired, ejected, and banned for however long the owner feels necessary.
* I don't care if you are friends with staff. If you break a rule, you will face consequences. No saying "I'm friends with Cetan/bob/suzie/john/ect, so I do whatever I want" no, unacceptable. You, and the offending staff member will be punished.
* If you see staff breaking the rules, report it to the owner ONLY. Be sure to have either a screen shot, or an unedited log.
* No humping other wolves in public. If you really MUST rp you and your mate breeding, go into the mating board.
* If staff make a decision about a certain situation, or tell someone to do something, DO IT. If you think there is a problem, whisper the owner about it, otherwise you risk receiveing punishment for insubordination, or failure to respect staff. Staff have the privilege to tweak rules, or make decisions if necessary. Don't sit in front of staff and do something really twinkish and say "ha ha, I cant get in trouble I'm not breaking any rules" if what you're doing is disruptive enough, they CAN and WILL eject you
* If you plan to RP a pup in a pack, be aware that I give the mother or father of a litter the right to decide their pups' colors. If your parents tell you that you aren't allowed to rp a pink wolf, they have the right to do so. At the same time, they may give you the option to RP whatever colors you wish, but keep in mind that you should look at least slightly similar to your parents, grandparents, or great grandparents. Thats plenty of genes to choose from this isn't a solid rule though. There aren't any REAL color limitations, just suggestions for realism.
* NO GANGBANGS. What does this mean? If Tommy and Joey are role playing, and Sarah and Stevie are there to support Joey, they are NOT permitted to jump into the fighting to help kill Tommy UNLESS, AND ONLY UNLESS, Tommy agrees to it. This is to PREVENT THRILL-KILLING. I have seen EVERY EXCUSE in the BOOK OF EXCUSES to justify thrill-killing and it is NO FUN being UNABLE to go IC and RP when the minute you step IC 6 assholes have jumped you. GROUP FIGHTING IS ONLY ALLOWED WHEN:
a.) PACKS are fighting. Joey/Jill/John v Sarah/Sam = OK!
b.) The opposing party agrees to someone else entering BEFORE OR DURING the Roleplay
c.) A wolf intrudes into another pack's den or territory and refuses to leave.
Do not have OOC conversations in the dream enterance area, this may leave the wrong impression on future roleplayers that have just entered the dream
*any more dream rule suggestions, please post them here
